Welcome! I’m Christy, the heart behind Early Explorer’s Family Childcare.
For over 38 years, I’ve dedicated myself to nurturing and educating young children - as a nanny, preschool teacher, and now as a licensed family childcare provider. I hold 32 units in Early Childhood Education and a degree in Individual and Society, blending academic knowledge with hands-on experience to create a well-rounded, play-based environment where curiosity leads the way and children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
I’m also a proud mom to four grown children and three grown bonus children, which has deepened my understanding of the joys and challenges of parenthood. I know how important it is to find a caregiver who feels like family - someone who truly appreciates and nurtures your child’s individual strengths.
Opening Early Explorer’s has been a dream in the making. After a year of preparation and licensing, I’m proud to offer a warm, home-like setting where children can explore, discover, and thrive.
